Gu Weixi，Born in May 1963 in Lianyungang, Jiangsu Province.He is a professor, doctoral and postgraduate tutor at the Art School of Southeast University.
 Successive positions: Assistant Dean of Art Research Institute of Shanghai University; Executive Dean of Public Art Research Institute of Shanghai University; Vice Dean of Chinese Painting College of Guangxi Academy of Fine Arts; Curator of Art Museum of Guangxi Academy of Fine Arts; Executive Dean of Chinese Painting Research Institute of Nanjing Arts College;Director of the Editorial Department of Chinese Art Research
